If you’re curious about how and why the Adidas Samba shoe was created, like I was when I did this research, let me tell you what I found:

The Adidas Samba was originally created in the 1950s as a soccer training shoe. It was specifically designed for indoor soccer players, providing them with durability, grip, and comfort.

However, over the decades the Adidas shoe has been embraced by not only soccer players, but also musicians, skaters, and fashion enthusiasts, like you and me.  

Well, now that we know how the Samba Adidas came to be, let’s talk about the different colors and designs and of course how to style the Adidas Samba shoes.

7 Ways to Style Adidas Samba

1. Pair your Sambas with Leggings

Just because the use of the Samba shoes has expanded to more than athletic use, doesn’t mean, you cannot style it sporty anymore. You need to combine different elements to create a sporty but also chic outfit.

For the sporty part of the outfit, opt for leggings as the foundation of your sporty-chic look. This does not only look good but is also comfy. Try elevating your outfit by adding a jean jacket, leather jacket, or oversized blazer.

2. Style your Adidas Samba with Baggy Jeans

Start with selecting a pair of baggy jeans with a relaxed fit. If your jeans are too long, consider rolling the cuffs up to showcase your Sambas. If you’re totally into the baggy look, pair the jeans with a slightly oversized shirt. Personally, I like to balance it out.

I pair baggy pants with a fitted shirt and the other way around. The only exception for me is an oversized hoodie. I love the relaxed look.

If you’re unsure how to style certain things, look at celebrities, like Kendall Jenner. Long skirts are nice summer and spring essentials. If you know me, then you know that my heart beats for all kinds of skirts.

If I get the opportunity to style something with a skirt, I take it and you should do the same!

If you can pair it with a skirt, you can also pair it with a dress. This is perfect for a coffee date, casual date night, or park stroll. I would opt for a long dress and pair it with an oversized jacket to match the casual look of the Sambas.

5. Style your Sambas with Straight Leg Jeans

Although, skinny jeans are not really in the trend right now. Straight-leg jeans are! They are a little more loosely fitted but not baggy. You can dress the outfit down by adding a graphic tee or up by adding a chic blouse.

6. Pair Your Sambas with Shorts

For the hotter days, you can style your Sambas with shorts.

For a more casual vibe, pair your Sambas with sporty shorts and a tank top or a sweatshirt. Top off the sporty look by adding a baseball hat and a nice pair of sunglasses.

Also, consider wearing denim shorts for a more put-together streetwear style. Add a leather jacket, jeans jacket or a blazer to further enhance your outfit.
